ABANA 2006 - Seattle Washington - 5 to 8 JULY

Strongman Jake Lau shows off his skills at the Conference  Jake is shown here lifting a Peterwrong anvil that from it’s size appears to weight 200-250 pounds. We were unable to confirm the actual weight of this anvil at press time.  (Jake is the Grandson of Bill Clemens BGCM member and editor of the Hammer and Tong)

By Bill Clemens

The Conference was great.  Only problem was there was too much to do and see and too little time to do it all.  As you can see from the picture above my Grandson enjoyed his time at the conference too.  I could probably fill the entire newsletter and still not tell you everything that I saw and did during the 4 day conference.  As they say, a picture is worth 1000 words, so rather than try to tell you about it, here are a series of pictures that  will give you some idea of all the activities at the conference.                                             See Photos on  Pages 10-12
