Saturday we will forge a cable damascus billet in the morning and make what ever project they want in the afternoon, or forge a second billet.

Sunday we will forge a traditional twist pattern billet in the morning, and create a project or forge a second billet in the afternoon.

In this extended 4 day version of BS-101, you will learn safety, hammer control, fire building and maintenance, and how to make small items.  You will learn to forge a fish tail scroll, pig tail scroll, tab hook, drive hook, forge poker, water can handle, and other student selected projects as time permits.

Learn hammer control, hardening and tempering, and rivet making. You will forge a pair of pick up tongs and all the tooling necessary to punch, drift, rivet, and assemble them. Projects will include a top rivet set, bottom rivet stake, center punch, scribe, round punch, and a punch plate or bolster.

Forge welding or Fire Welding is a technique for joining two pieces of iron or steel by heating them in a forge and then fusing them together with hammer blows.
